Patch Update
Posted on
Hi everyone,
We’re very pleased to have some good news to share for Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX players!
A new update is live now on Steam and brings some lovely new additions alongside a range of bug fixes. These updates are in testing now for Switch, PlayStation & Xbox. As soon as testing is completed these patches will be submitted for each console and pushed out to players. Due to console patch submission processes, we expect that we will have these patches live by the end of the month at the latest.
Below is everything that you can expect to see in the update.
What's new?
Assisted Controls Menu
From the options menu within the main title screen settings, you will see an option to access a new Assist Menu. Within this menu, you will find some new optional settings:
Infinite Lives has now been relocated here.
Reworked Controls - Turning this option on makes Alex feel more responsive, but removes Alex's sliding effect making some optional areas of the game unreachable when using this mode.
Adjusted Collisions - Turning this option on reduces Akex's collision with enemies making it slightly less likely for him to die throughout the game.
Level Select
We're very pleased to add this much-requested feature! Once you have finished the game you'll find this option available to use from the main menu.
